Making a Good Impression on your First Few Days at a New Job

I’m sure many of you know that I’m in my early twenties at least for now before October approaches and I’ve worked a number of new job(s). At that time, I’d most likely edit this post to read “in my mid-twenties”.

Or maybe not.

No, I won’t.

I want to remember that I really wanted to grow old in the past, get a job, etc. But now, I’ve realized that adulting is not an easy feat. And I want to go back to being a ‘mommy’s girl’.

Or better still, I want to remember my younger days.

What better way to get back to blogging than a mini introduction especially for my new blog readers?

I’m sure many of you don’t know one or two things about the person behind the blog, so I thought this will be a great way to introduce or reintroduce myself as the case may be.

Taking a two weeks break was absolutely needed because I wasn’t feeling too inspired to write at some point judging from my recent workload and new responsibilities.

It surely felt like forever. I missed writing, but looking back now, I see that the break was valuable. I found inspiration in many places I wouldn’t have if I didn’t take time off.

If personality clash can be linked to relationships, why then can’t we link it to our jobs and how we feel about implementing it?

We have every reason to believe that we are in a relationship with our jobs/ career. We spend a large amount of time each day at our various workplaces which average at least 7 hours per day.

Personality clash at work is real. If you are an indoor person and your job requires you to be outdoor, that’ll be a big deal for you and possibly a deal breaker. This goes vice versa.
