Free Up Your Mind To Be More Productive

Sometimes you just need to free up your mind, think about nothing, and just relax. But how often do we get to do this, seriously? Our mind is never free, simply because we’re always so busy thinking about the next thing. As soon as we wake up, we’re thinking about the terrible day at work we’re about to have especially if there is a tight deadline for you.

Then we’re thinking about the house that we’re going to have to come home to clean. Then we’re thinking about the prep that we’re going to have to do for the next morning, just so that we’re not rushing around in the morning.

Now, that’s just thinking about what we actually have to do in a day. That does not account for all of the wild thoughts that are running through our minds, every single day. The thoughts of random scenarios, holiday’s, relationship problems. It’s just one constant monologue in our minds, and it seems almost impossible to shut it out. But that’s only because you’re seriously not trying.

Little Known Ways To Get Rid Of These 2 Life Problems

Do you often think of some of the life problems we face as humans, better put adults? We all go through some form of obstacles in life.

Growing up, we watched cartoons that ended with: “and they lived happily ever after…” At least, I did. Naturally, we bought into the idea of never having any worries. We grew older, faced and still face a number of life challenges and find it somewhat difficult to navigate. But this shouldn’t be.

Do you think that if we were taught from a young age that adversity was a common thing with living we’d have learned to solve life issues easily?

As human beings, we are always looking to solve problems which have led to a number of inventions like electricity, internet, technology, etc. However, what’s most challenging is solving problems with our personal lives and dealing with our minds.

Do You Look Forward to Fridays?: Living a Well-Rounded Life

This week has been the longest, true story!

I thought to update the inspiration category of the blog as it’s been a while since I last did that. I recall publishing something quite similar here.

You know what’s funny? I’ve had this post drafted for some time and I was going to publish it last week Friday, but I hesitated. One of the reasons is because I don’t necessarily publish posts on Fridays if you’ve noticed.

I’m working towards sticking to a schedule, but of course, I understand that things may change every once in a while and it may be affected. Also, I don’t want to put out too much content so much that you barely have enough time to absorb it.

How to Handle an Overly Competitive Coworker

Don’t you just love a friendly competition? You and your coworkers or friends uplifting each other and breaking boundaries!

When Jamila left a comment at a previous post (read here) stating that she would like to see a post discussing how to deal with competition at work, I knew it was about time I drafted one (because I’ve had it on my mind for some time).

That not withstanding, I wanted to start out from a positive perspective before moving forward.

If that sounds cliché, I totally get it. Most people claim to be positive when in fact they are doing the extreme opposite. But it’s a better way to look at everything that has to do with life irrespective.

No Motivation to Go to Work? Find it Here (Easy Peasy!)

Everyone loves to talk about how they lack motivation on their jobs. Okay, not everyone, but almost everyone.

Sometimes, I think some workers have become so used to complaining  so much that they don’t realize that it’s become the norm. Like, one can even hear their thoughts.

In a previous article, I discussed how to discover if you lack motivation, because I was of the opinion that that was the first step to take. But, I also feel that inspiration has a way of influencing motivation.

That explains why I started out the inspiration category on the blog. I was of the opinion that we all need something or someone to inspire us to seek out the best in life, which of course, would include our jobs!

Want to feel More Appreciated & Valued at Work? Here is How!

You go to work happy. Do everything within your power to meet the end of your bargain – do your job!

And your boss or employer never deems it fit to acknowledge your hard work and input.

This is not to say that you are carrying out your job because you hope to be rewarded or praised. I think as humans we just want to feel appreciated.

We want someone to notice that we put in some time to make some achievements.

I get it.

You get it!
