A few years ago I transitioned to natural hair for several reasons. One of the best parts is having to take care of my hair myself. This has helped me save money and improved my personal finance (at least in the aspect of hair care).
I can’t say it’s been extremely easy to make my hair myself, but in this video, I have shared my tips on how I’m able to do this.
Disclaimer:
DIY is not for everyone depending on how busy your schedule is. It’s okay to visit the salon once in a while (those are professionals), but if you want to live within a budget as a worker, then you should be willing to do some things yourself once in a while.
I hope this video inspires you and I hope you enjoy watching. Let me know in the comment section whether you make your hair yourself. What other thing do you do yourself?
Wow! Zinny that’s so beautiful. I can’t believe you did that yourself. I do my girls’ hair but I always get someone to do mine. It will save a lot of money if I made my own hair! Thank you for the inspiration!
Thanks, Precious. I used to think I couldn’t do it myself before. But when I was still in Nigeria, I will feel so angry with how hair stylists handled my hair (because my hair is so thick and full) so one day, I started watching YouTube videos and started practicing. That’s how I started making my hair myself. When I relocated to Canada, I found it easy to survive lol. Glad to hear you were inspired. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the week!
