Career Change, Getting Ahead

Want to feel More Appreciated & Valued at Work? Here is How!

You go to work happy. Do everything within your power to meet the end of your bargain – do your job!

And your boss or employer never deems it fit to acknowledge your hard work and input.

This is not to say that you are carrying out your job because you hope to be rewarded or praised. I think as humans we just want to feel appreciated.

We want someone to notice that we put in some time to make some achievements.

I get it.

Finally, no more Phone Distractions at Work!

I’m sure when you saw the blog title, you rolled your eyes because you are most likely reading this post on your phone.

But, please hold on. What I mean is phone distractions at work…during work hours, especially when you are working on a tight schedule but your phone won’t let you be.

I used to think I wasn’t a phone addict.

I’m Back to Blogging, a ‘Get to Know Me’ Tag +A New YouTube Channel!!!

What better way to get back to blogging than a mini introduction especially for my new blog readers?

I’m sure many of you don’t know one or two things about the person behind the blog, so I thought this will be a great way to introduce or reintroduce myself as the case may be.

Taking a two weeks break was absolutely needed because I wasn’t feeling too inspired to write at some point judging from my recent workload and new responsibilities.

It surely felt like forever. I missed writing, but looking back now, I see that the break was valuable. I found inspiration in many places I wouldn’t have if I didn’t take time off.

You Say It Best When You Say Nothing At All: The Importance Of Writing In The Workplace

*This is a collaborative post.

When we’re in school, many of us can’t wait until the day when we can do away with the much-dreaded process of writing. Who has time for it? Isn’t it better to just say something out loud? No need to worry about commas and formatting when the words come straight from your mouth.

Well, bad luck. Just about every career option open to you will involve writing in some form or another. The idea that you can get away is nothing more than a myth.
