Employee's Workplace

Finding A Lifeline Through Twelve Hour Nursing Shifts

It’s no secret that few individuals work as hard as those in healthcare dealing with demanding shifts. From doctors to nurses, the hours are long, and the workload is demanding.

Not to mention that the job continues no matter what day of the year it is. The sick always need treating, and you need to be there to treat them.

As a nurse, this workload can be especially challenging to weather. Often, people don’t appreciate just what nurses do, or how hard they work.

The Liebster Award & 11 Random Facts About Me

I have to say a big sorry to these two wonderful bloggers. First, Ijeoma of Ijefinelivin.com who nominated me several months ago and Oyinyechi of oyisixtus.com who also nominated me about a few weeks ago.

Once I received these nominations, I was so humbled and had planned to answer the questions as soon as possible. Happy October!!!

I am so excited it’s October already. Every year I get this feeling for several reasons. First, it’s my birth month. It’s also my father’s birthday today (1st of October). Today is also Independence day in Nigeria, my country and where I lived most of my life. In Canada, Thanksgiving day and Halloween is celebrated in October alongside series of other events. October is filled with several amazing occasions and I intend to make the most of it this year.
