I always want to ensure that this blog is user-friendly because I’ll love for you to have a great experience when you stop over. I’ve received some questions in the past and decided to create an FAQ page that answers all. If you have any other question that will need clarification, I’ll be glad to update this page.
1. Sometimes, I have to scroll down a lot to find new posts. I think that should be looked into.
Thank you for pointing this out. On the blog, there are different categories and you may find posts that you might have missed. Please go to the header of the blog and click on ‘categories’ there will be a drop down and you can choose what you would love to read.
Another way to work around this is to scroll down through recent posts on the homepage, at the bottom of the posts you will find ‘Older Posts’, click on it to discover older posts that you can read through.
If you still want to see older posts, scroll to the bottom where you can find more options: ‘Older Posts’ click that for previous posts or click on ‘Newer Posts’ for latest posts.
2. I want to know how frequently you blog, do you blog daily?
I honestly wish I could blog daily, but I’ll be sincere to myself that that won’t be possible, at least for now. Currently, I roughly publish two posts (blog/ video) per week. But of course, life events happen sometimes and my schedule may be affected. All the same, I don’t take this lightly, I work hard to ensure that the blog is regularly updated.
The best way for you to stay updated is to subscribe to the blog. I send out bi-weekly emails to check up on subscribers, send out exclusive info, and you’ll be informed when there is a new blog post or video. Also, ensure that you add my email: [email protected] to your inbox so that you don’t miss out any email.
Don’t worry, I hate spams too so I won’t bug you. I only send out bi-weekly emails and it’s a friendly note!
If you’d prefer, you can also follow me on my social media handles where I’m brutally free. Truth is, I love Instagram so much, so you’ll always catch a glimpse of my personal life and get notified of a new post too!

To subscribe, go to the header of the blog, at the top right corner, you’ll find the ‘Subscribe’ button. Click on it and receive the goodies!
3. Is your work copyrighted? Can I repost it?
I’m excited to know that you enjoy and love reading these articles I churn out here. I’ll be extremely excited to know that you’d be sharing them because it’ll help with promotion. Just ensure that you attribute your use of my articles properly.
To share a post, please use the share buttons. If you need more options, click on ‘GS’ and you’ll find more mediums to share posts.
4. Are comments allowed on the blog?
Your comments are always welcome. I want to get to know how you feel about an article, I want to hear from you. Please feel free to leave a comment behind after reading a post. It gladdens my heart. At the same time, please note that rude and insulting comments to other readers may be removed as I aim to promote a positive community on the blog.
Constructive criticisms, however, is always allowed. We all have to learn from each other.
5. Do you blog about only the workplace and why did you decide to do this?
I consider myself a workplace/ human resources blogger so I focus primarily on that because that’s my niche. I transitioned my career from law to human resources at a point when I was really looking out for what I wanted to do with my career. To be sincere, I’ve always admired the corporate world and couldn’t imagine doing anything outside it full-time even though I can be quite artistic most times.
Blogging about it became more appealing to me and with the support of loved ones, especially my boyfriend at the time (now my fiancé), I was able to start the blog in 2016. I blog about the workplace because I’m passionate about it. This doesn’t mean that I don’t blog on other things, it just always has to relate to the workplace in the long run.
Occasionally, I blog on meals to take to work, movies that can help workers relax on weekends (because I love movies), career transition, immigration, and so much more. There is also the relaxation category of the blog which could contain any type of topic as long as it’s a suggestion to get some rest or relaxation, even as a worker.
Please note that I’m not a career/ immigration expert. I’m simply a blogger who loves to tell stories and share articles revolving around work-life. Maybe I’ll be a career/ immigration expert someday, who knows? But for now, I’m not one.
However, if you still have the urge to tell me about your career/ immigration issues, I’ll be happy to let you know my thoughts but please don’t take it as a professional advice. Read the privacy and disclosure statement.
6. Do you accept guest posts?
Thank you for the interest but at the moment, I don’t accept guest posts and I’ll tell you why — I love to give my posts a personal feel. I think my readers love it because I share life issues from my experiences and hope to keep growing my relationship with the Zinny Factor community.
That said, if you really want to share an article on this blog, I’ll accept it (because it’s so thoughtful of you to want to share on this platform); however, I’ll have to make my own input to the article. This means that I’ll share my insight and embed your article into the final post.
Of course, I’ll credit you. But I’ll have to share my opinion with readers even on that post. If this is acceptable, then you are welcome to come on board.
I host interviews in form of a magazine on this blog. That’s how I’m able to share various thoughts and opinions of experts in diverse fields. If you’ll prefer to be interviewed, please send me an email detailing what your job or career entails and I’ll be more than happy to have a chat.
Blogger Collaborations: These are acceptable and I’ll be happy to work on a project that aligns with the visions of Zinny Factor.
7. Can you advertise my product?
I’m always willing to share good stuff with my audience. If your product is good for Zinny Factor, please feel free to send me an email. You can also take advantage of my social media accounts. Kindly check out my Work With Me page for more information.
8. Who is your photographer and who designed your website?
My husband is my personal photographer and also doubles up as my Creative Director. This website was also designed by him. If you need his services, please check out his website: www.obaallen.com and what he offers. Here is his Instagram page: @obaallen.
For any other questions, please feel free to contact me or send an email to [email protected]. In the meantime, check out the disclosure statement or privacy statement because most of your answers may be in there!
